Whistleblower Platform

You also have the option of submitting a case of suspicion or a report regarding a compliance violation via our whistleblower platform and contacting Compliance Management this way.

We work with a specialized service provider who operates the platform on external, certified servers (in Germany) so that whistleblowers can contact us confidentially and in a non-traceable way. Confidential reports can also be submitted anonymously via our whistleblower platform.

You can set up a mailbox that is protected with a personal password and decide whether you want to stay anonymous or give us your contact details. This gives you the option of a protected dialogue for inquiries and further information.

To the Whistleblower Platform

How to provide information

In order for your report to be processed and investigated appropriately by Compliance Management, it is important that the report is as concrete as possible.

You can report all violations or any suspicion thereof committed

  • by employees of the Bayerische Versorgungskammer in connection with their employment
  • by business partners of the Bayerische Versorgungskammer

We take every report seriously and ensure the processing of your report through systematic procedures. We undertake to protect good faith whistleblowers from possible disadvantages. However, this does not apply to accusations made in bad faith, i.e. accusations that are clearly false or made with the aim of unjustly harming someone. That type of report deserves no attention and their initiator no protection. On the contrary such actions may be prosecuted.

What happens after submitting a report

Whistleblowers receive confirmation of their report having been received by Compliance Management within seven days via the whistleblower platform.

In a first step, Compliance Management checks whether the report falls within the scope of application, carries out a plausibility check and verifies the validity of the report. During this time, Compliance Management maintains contact with the whistleblower via the whistleblower platform and requests further information if necessary.

If the findings indicate an initial suspicion of a compliance violation, appropriate follow-up measures will be taken. Your identity will only be disclosed to other internal or external bodies with your permission with the exception of law enforcement authorities and courts. Please also see the data protection informationregarding the use of the whistleblower platform.

After three months at the latest, whistleblowers receive a message in regards to the follow-up measures that are planned and those already taken, as well as the reasons for each of those actions.

Legal Whistleblower Protection

The German Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) protects the confidentiality of whistleblowers and grants them rights. Therefore, the highest level of confidentiality and fairness in dealing with whistleblowers is ensured when processing a report. This also applies to any parties affected by the report.

Please note

The whistleblower platform is not an emergency system. In an emergency situation, please contact the local police authority.

Please note that our whistleblower system is not intended for complaints. If you are dissatisfied with your benefits, membership or invoices, please get in touch with the contact person indicated in the relevant correspondence.
